CLUB UNIFORM
The Pathfinder
uniform helps make the Pathfinder program real and visible. It is
emblematic and representative of the worldwide club’s ideals and
standards. Each individual member becomes a very vital representative of
the organization, and wearing the uniform will help to provide a
consciousness of belonging to a club that rightly represents the
Adventist youth of today. If the uniform is worn as ordinary clothing it
will have failed in its purpose.
The uniform should always be neat and clean. To wear it commonly for ordinary play or work lowers its dignity. The Pathfinder Club program should be so valuable to each member that the uniform will be acquired and worn with enthusiasm.
It is recommended that uniforms be worn on the following occasions:

It is recommended that uniforms be worn on the following occasions:
- At all Pathfinder meetings
- At any public gathering when any or all act as: Messengers, Ushers, Guard of honor, Color Guards
- On occasions as specified by Pathfinder director
- At special Pathfinder services
- While engaging in witness activity, or community service such as Ingathering, distributing food baskets, flowers, literature, etc.
Uniforms should not be worn:
- By nonmembers
- When engaged in selling or solicitation for personal profit, or for commercial or political purposes
- At any time or place when it’s wearing discounts the organization or casts reflection upon the uniform, lowers its dignity and esteem, and makes it commonplace.
Class A (Formal Uniform)
Girls: Blouse – Tan, short-sleeve
Skirt – Black, knee-length
Socks – Black, nylons
Shoes – Black, closed toe
No step-ins, sandals or sneakers allowed.
Boys: Shirt – Tan, short-sleeve
Slacks – Black, straight leg with belt loops
Socks – Black, dress socks
Shoes – Black, dress shoes
No sandals or sneakers allowed.
Belts and Buckles:
Must have the Pathfinder Logo.
Pathfinder scarf, slide, sash & patches:
The Club, will provide the necessary scarf, slide, sash, patches, and pins.
If a Pathfinder loses any of the items mentioned above, they will be charged for a re-issue.
ALL patches and insignias should be sewn properly and placed according to the NAD Pathfinder Manual.
Skirt – Black, knee-length
Socks – Black, nylons

Where to Place Sash and Pins
Class B (Informal Uniform)
Same as Class A, except without the following:
1. Sash
2. Scarf and slide
3. Black tie
4. Nylons

« No wearing of any jewelry when wearing the Class A or B uniform.
« Pants should never be baggy or loose.
« Skirts should never be higher than knee length.
We try to recycle uniforms that kids have outgrown. As these are free, we would appreciate your willingness to recycle back the uniforms your Pathfinder child will or has outgrown.
